End generational poverty and stabilize the future for women-led Haitian families.

In Haiti’s rural villages, 24 percent of the population lives in abject poverty. Many are women who are survivors of violence. Conditions are exacerbated by poor infrastructure and long distances from services such as healthcare and education, which greatly affect the young and old. Beyond Borders is empowering women-led families to escape poverty through this 18-month program. Through weekly coaching and two productive assets—livestock or a small business—participants generate consistent income, which helps provide security for future generations.
