A discarded bike in the US can be repaired and shipped to Africa to serve marginalized communities.

Lack of transportation is a huge impediment to healthcare workers, teachers and students in remote African villages. Clinics are usually many miles away, and teachers and their students travel long distance, on foot, to reach school. Bicycles for Humanity (B4H) partnered with Every Orphans Hope (EOH) orphanage to establish the Narrow Road Bike Shop. In the ensuing years, B4H has delivered over 1,000 bikes to the community. The bike shop has also created jobs for former children of the orphanage. In 2019 with the support of AGI, EOH opened a satellite bike shop, helping provide a transportation alternative and greater access to the nearest hospital.
